Careers and guidance advisors

We work with a range of educational and community advisors, both within the UK and abroad, to assist and engage in helping learners make the right choices.

Widening participation in higher education is key to our work and we collaborate with schools (years 9-11 and years 12 and 13), further education colleges and sixth form centres, adult learners, community groups and individuals from various backgrounds and walks of life to consider education as a positive route into employment.

Our long and successful history of encouraging and inspiring learners gives us a platform to deliver important impartial advice in a simple and meaningful way, which is tailored to each learner group.

Presentations and workshops include (but not exclusive to):

  • transition into higher education
  • returning to education
  • choosing the right provider and course area
  • applying to university
  • understanding student finance
  • advice for parents

We certainly learned a lot about UCAS and the decisions that need to be made. PFC’s delivery, enthusiasm, knowledge, anecdotes and sense of humour has motivated our learners.
